Ginger and lime? Cream cheese? Flavour marriage made in heaven. This is a softer, less sweet frosting that tastes divine on chocolate cake.

The second time I made it, I used 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger and then sprinkled crystallized ginger on top. It made for a peppy design, and people could choose the cupcakes with more or less ginger, depending on their taste.

This is a "5" thru and thru. It one of the most interesting frostings I've come across. It topped on of my birthday cakes this year - I made a yellow cake with finely chopped thai candied ginger. I has a HUGE hit!

Very interesting flavors. I made it last week for a chocolate birthday cake and while some people were hestitant, everyone enjoyed it once they tried it.
I'll definitely use it again when I'm looking for something out of the ordinary!

Very good! I used this on my friend's birthday cake. I love how the ginger takes the attention off of the lime, and the cream cheese is just such a powerful base to it all, but doesn't overpower. Good job on just the right amount of each.
Don't be afraid by the title; it's good.
