Ingredients
  • 1 pound crab meat, picked clean
  • 12 slices bread, slightly dry, crust removed
  • 6 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 teaspoon onion, dried flakes
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, minced
  • 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup pimiento, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seafood seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup corn flakes, crumbled

Directions
  1. Break bread into small pieces with fingers and mix with crab, eggs, onion, parsley, pimento and green pepper. Mix may, milk, Old Bay, Worchestershire, salt & pepper. Then mix lightly with bread mixture. Turn into buttered 9 x 13 casserole and sprinkle with cheese and then corn flake crumbs. Refrigerate overnight.
  2. Remove from refrigerator one hour before baking. Bake at 350 for one hour until puffed and golden.

Mmmm...sounds delicious!


Oh my, I would kill for some good crab meat to make this recipe! It still goes down into my box of recipes cause I never know when I will come across some.....or get another trip back to Baltimore in order to buy some! You are right...it's expensive, but so worth it!


im allergic to shell fish and some other fish so i cant have it but i always make for family gatherings , and people at work, thank you so much, i bookmarked this
