PASSIONATE FRENCH TOAST WITH BANANA TOPPING This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Gee Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 banana sliced thin
  • 2 pats butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 slice French toast

Directions
  1. Combine cinnamon and sugar then add sliced fruit, butter and juice.
  2. Microwave until butter melts and mixture is hot.
  3. Stir until fruit slices are covered with sauce then pour over French toast.
