How to make it

  • For the base:
  • Cream butter, flour and sugar
  • Spread with fingers on a 15 x 10 inch baking sheet
  • Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes
  • Be careful that it doesn't burn!
  • For the topping:
  • Mix brown sugar. eggs. flour, coconut & pecans
  • Pour over the baked layer base and bake for 20 minutes
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle immediately with sugar.
  • Cut while still warm
  • Store in airtight tin
  • Serves 10 - 12

    I love this idea especially the topping.
    Pecans and coconut are so good together.
    I was not going to look at a meat recipe but I am happy I looked at this one,using coconut meat
