How to make it

  • For the filling , mix everything and set aside .
  • with 1/2 C warm water mix the sugar and the yeast .
  • Cover and set aside until it becoems frothy .
  • Make a well in the centre of the flour .
  • Add the yeast mixture and enough warm water to bind a soft dough .
  • Add 1 tbsp butter and knead for 5 mins .
  • Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 1 hour .
  • Knead again and make 10 balls .
  • Flatten each ball and put 1 tsp of filling inside and press to seal it .
  • Keep on a greased plate , leaving space inbetween and cover it with damp cloth . Set aside .
  • Pre heat oven to 200 deg .
  • Bake for 8 to 10 mins .
  • Serve hot with butter and sauce .
