Greek Rolls

- 250 g flour and 1/ 2 tsp salt , sifted shopping list
- 2 C warm water shopping list
- 15 g yeast shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- Filling : shopping list
- 1/2 C corriander leaves , chopped shopping list
- 1/4 C fresh coconut , grated shopping list
- 1 tsp green chilli and ginger paste shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- pinch of sugar shopping list
How to make it
- For the filling , mix everything and set aside .
- with 1/2 C warm water mix the sugar and the yeast .
- Cover and set aside until it becoems frothy .
- Make a well in the centre of the flour .
- Add the yeast mixture and enough warm water to bind a soft dough .
- Add 1 tbsp butter and knead for 5 mins .
- Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 1 hour .
- Knead again and make 10 balls .
- Flatten each ball and put 1 tsp of filling inside and press to seal it .
- Keep on a greased plate , leaving space inbetween and cover it with damp cloth . Set aside .
- Pre heat oven to 200 deg .
- Bake for 8 to 10 mins .
- Serve hot with butter and sauce .
