How to make it

  • Grind or process almonds and sugar. Set aside.
  • Beat egg whites with cream of tartar untl stiff.
  • Add almond extract and continue beating.
  • Fold in almond sugar.
  • Drop by tablespoon onto parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle with some confectionary sugar and wait 2 hours at room temperature.
  • Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.

    I could eat dirt if it had almonds in it! 4c. of almonds make it 4 times as good. Thanks, I saved this one to try! You could get a 5 from me on anything you put an almond on!
