How to make it

  • Put bacon and pecans in a large skillet and saute them together until the bacon is crisp. Add the beans, red pepper and brown sugar and toss together well. Add a tablespoon or two of water, cover the pan and let the beans cook until slightly beyond tender crisp. Toss well again and serve.
  • Really nice with baked chicken, steaks or any plain meats.
