Blue Cheese And Kalamata Olive Spread Recipe

Ingredients

8 ounces pitted Kalamata olives (can use black olives or your favorite olives)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

6 tablespoons olive oil, maybe more if needed

1/4 pound blue cheese, may also use Roquefort or Gorgonzola

Small loaf French bread, thinly sliced

Directions

In bowl of a food processor, place olives, garlic, nuts, and olive oil

Process with on/off pulses until mixture is finely chopped and blended

Add cheese, pulse until a smooth consistency

Make sure that the paste is moist. May have to add more olive oil

by the teaspoon

Transfer to bowl and refrigerate until about 15 minutes before serving
