Limoncello Cream Liqueur

- 7 lemons, throughly washed shopping list
- 1 liter of vodka shopping list
- 3 c sugar shopping list
- 1 qt half and half shopping list
- decorative bottles/corks shopping list
How to make it
- Zest the lemons being sure not to include any pith. Place in a large container with the alcohol. Let sit for 2 to 3 weeks.
- In a large pot, add the sugar and cream. Heat until the sugar has dissolved about 5 minutes. Let mixture cool completely. Add the lemon-alcohol mixture into the pot using a strainer to catch zest. Pour mixture into bottles. Store in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days before drinking.
- Continue to store in freezer.
