How to make it

  • Peel plantains and cut lengthwise in half.
  • Place halves on greased grill rack. Cover and grill medium high heat about 5 minutes on each side or until they are lightly charred.
  • Stir together remaining ingredients and drizzle over the heated charred plantains.
  • Sprinkle with the toasted coconut
  • Note: Increase recipe for desired amounts of servings.

    These sound wonderful and tropical. When I was little my mother used to fry plantains and bananas using different recipes. It was always a treat for us.
