Fresh Blackberry Sherbet

- 1-1/2 cups fresh blackberries shopping list
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipped cream shopping list
How to make it
- In bowl, mix berries with powdered sugar
- Let stand for about 15 minutes
- Then crush through sieve
- Combine the sweetened condensed milk with berries and lemon juice
- Chill until mixture begins to thicken
- Fold the whipped cream into the chilled mixture
- Place in a safe-for-freezer dish, place in freezer, chill until partially frozen
- Remove and beat until smooth
- Return to freezer until frozen
- Spoon into dessert dishes when ready to serve
- MAY DOUBLE THIS RECIPE

OMG Blackberry and sherbert, this has my name written all over it. I LOVE blackberries and prefer sherbet over ice cream for caloric reasons. This sounds decadent. You got my five girlfriend, great post. Cat
