How to make it

  • Grill tomatoes and green chilies until skin is charred.
  • Remove skins.
  • Quarter and remove seeds from tomatoes.
  • Dice tomatoes, onion, and green chilies.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • For smoother salsa blend at this point.
  • Chop cilantro and add last.

    I love grilled tomato salsas (and what's salsa without cilantro?), and I'm anxiously awaiting the great, plump, juicy tomatoes to ripen here soon - when I have my supply, I'll be making this salsa for sure. Thanks, pooh!
