Ingredients
  • Large, clean glass canning or mayonnaise jar
  • Untreated broccoli, radish, cauliflower, or alfalfa seeds (available at health food stores) OR try lentils, mung or azuki beans
  • Small piece of cheesecloth
  • A rubber band
  • Cold water

Directions
  1. Put 2-3 tablespoons seeds or beans in clean jar
  2. Cut a piece of cheesecloth to fit over the jar opening & secure it with a rubber band
  3. Cover seeds with cold water & let them sit overnight
  4. Next day, drain and rinse them and lay jar on its side and rinse sprouts twice each day
  5. The will grow in any light, but full sun can dry and overheat them
  6. Temperature should be between 55 and 75 degrees
  7. When they are looking "sprouty", put them in the fridge but continue to rinse daily for freshness
  8. Use sprouts in salads and omelets, on sandwiches, or as a garnish
  9. EASY TO GROW AND VERY HEALTHY!!

So cool! Thanks!

I used to do this years ago when I was on a health kick (don't laugh). Thanks for the reminder, think I'll try it again.
