Ingredients

How to make it

  • Put 2-3 tablespoons seeds or beans in clean jar
  • Cut a piece of cheesecloth to fit over the jar opening & secure it with a rubber band
  • Cover seeds with cold water & let them sit overnight
  • Next day, drain and rinse them and lay jar on its side and rinse sprouts twice each day
  • The will grow in any light, but full sun can dry and overheat them
  • Temperature should be between 55 and 75 degrees
  • When they are looking "sprouty", put them in the fridge but continue to rinse daily for freshness
  • Use sprouts in salads and omelets, on sandwiches, or as a garnish
  • EASY TO GROW AND VERY HEALTHY!!

I used to do this years ago when I was on a health kick (don't laugh). Thanks for the reminder, think I'll try it again.
