Ingredients

3/4 cup of Yellow cornmeal

1/3 cup allpurpose flour

1and 1/2 Tsp. Baking powder

1/2 Tsp. Salt

1/2 cup Buttermilk

1 egg

1/4 finely chopped onion

.Sprinkle in A little cayenne pepper not a whole bunch

Directions

Heat 2-3 inches oil in a deep fryer over high heat(375)

Mix cornmeal flour baking powder and Salt in a mixing bowl Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well

Drop batter by Tbs. Full into hot oil.

Fry a few at a time 3-4 minutes or untill brown remove Place on Paper towel on Plate Repeat with remaining batter (Serve immeadiately or keep warm.{Chow time yum}.
