Campfire Popcorn

My son came over and asked for some of my old campfire recipes they could take to the scout camp out. Well....I got to pilfering through them and thought a "campfire cooking" group would be cool. It's that time of year to start camping and it was always helpful to have these. Read more .. See less
Ingredients
- 1 TBS. plus 1 tsp. oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup unpopped popcorn shopping list
- aluminum foil shopping list
- 4 wooden sticks shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt, or to tast shopping list
- 2 tsp. (or more) butter, melted (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Put oil and popcorn in the center of a large piece of foil. Fold the corners of the foil to make a pouch. Tie pouch to a stick and hold over camfire. (take some thin wire to tie with) Shake constantly until all the popcorn pops. Top with salt and melted butter
