Ingredients

How to make it

  • Prepare the Jello with only the hot water, like you would if you were following the jigglers instructions on the back.
  • Place jello in the fridge for about an hour until it is cool, but not firm
  • while jello cools...
  • carfully remove a layer about 1/8 of an inch think off the top of the cake and set aside to put back on at the end
  • remove a trench around the middle of the rest of the cake leaving the sides intact (I don't know if that makes sense, but basically your bunt cake should look like a river runs through it)
  • Once the jello has cooled mix the strawberries into it
  • then spoon the mixture into the trench of the cake, saving some for the top
  • replace the top and spoon remaining mixture onto the top
  • place cake in the fridge for at least an hour so that jello can set up
  • before serving add whipcream and garnish as desired (usually we add the whip cream individually once it is dished becasue the kids get a huge kick out of being in charge of how much whip cream everyone gets;)
