How to make it

  • FOR THE COOKIES
  • The dough makes quite a firm paste, so it might be easier to pipe half the quantity at a time.
  • 1.beat together the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until very pale and creamy. Add the flour and milk and mix to for a smooth paste.
  • 2.Put the mixture in a large pastry bag fitted with a large strar or plain tip, pipe fingers, or rings of dough, in a greased cookie sheets.
  • 3.Bake ina a preheated oven 350 ºF for 15 to 20 min.
  • 4.Using a spatula, transfer to a wire rack to cool.
  • FOR THE GLAZE
  • Place all ingredients in saucepan, stir constantly over very low heat until mixture is smooth.
  • Pour warm over cookies with a pipe to cover cookies.
