  • * 1 (10 ounce) fillet frozen catfish
  • * 1 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • * 1/2 cup corn flour
  • * 1 tsp garlic powder
  • * 1/4 tsp salt
  • * 1/4 tsp pepper (or to taste)
  • * oil for frying

Directions
  1. Heat Oil to 370 degrees
  2. cut catfish fillets into strips (about a quarter inch thick)
  3. put catfish fillets into a bowl and cover with cayenne pepper and garlic powder and set aside to thaw.
  4. in a shallow dish combine corn flour, salt and pepper
  5. coat thawed out catfish strips in corn flour mix and fry until golden brown (about 3 minutes)
