Popular in the 1980's this is lemony delish and pretty to serve dessert is easy to prepare and great for party fare

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1, 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 2, 3 oz pkg instant lemon pudding
  • 3 cups milk
  • additional whipped topping or whipped cream

Directions
  1. Make a crust by cutting butter ijnto flour.
  2. Blend in nuts.
  3. Pat into a 9 x 13 pan.
  4. Bake 350 for about 20 minutes.
  5. Cool.
  6. For cheese layer beat cream cheese with powder sugar and fold in one cup whipped topping.
  7. Spread over cooled crust.
  8. For pudding layer combine pudding with milk and beat smooth.
  9. Spread over cheese layer.
  10. Add a final layer of whipped toppiong.
  11. Chill very well.
  12. Cut into squares to serve
