Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 10 3/4oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Topping:
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup corn flake crumbs

Directions
  1. Saute onions in butter until translucent.
  2. Add soup,potatoes,and sour cream. Mix well.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spoon into a greased 9" x 13" x 2" baking dish.
  5. Combine cheese and corn flake crumbs. Spread over top.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
