These are great Turkey burgers, creamy with lots of flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1-2 Tbls. olive Oil
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1/2 Green bell pepper chopped
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 diced Jalapeno
  • 1 1/4 lbs. Fresh ground Turkey
  • 1 Tbls. Lemon Pepper seasoning
  • 1 Tbls. Chicken rub seasoning ( I use Emerald's Chicken Rub) any BBQ rub will do the job
  • 2 pinches of kosher salt
  • 3 Tbls. chopped Cilantro
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups fresh bread crumbs ( I make my own but dried bread crumbs are fine but you will not need as much)

Directions
  1. Sautee Onions, Bell pepper and garlic in Olive Oil for a few min. until soft adding the jalapenos for the last couple of min. let cool
  2. Mix Turkey, onion and pepper mix and all other ingredients with hands until well blended
  3. Form into 5 patties
  4. Put in freezer for 15-20 min until firm turning once
  5. grill over med to high heat for 6-8 min. per side until done
  6. Enjoy with your favorite fixins'
