Hazelnut Mushroom And Watercress Salad From The Shiley Estate In The Colony Texas Recipe

Ingredients

2 cloves garlic finely chopped

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 bunches watercress

1 cup mushrooms sliced

1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts

Directions

In a small bowl whisk together garlic, olive oil, vinegar, tarragon, mustard, honey, salt and pepper.

In a large bowl toss watercress with half the dressing and divide among 4 salad plates.

Arrange mushrooms on top of the watercress then drizzle with remaining dressing then sprinkle with nuts and serve immediately.
