HAZELNUT MUSHROOM AND WATERCRESS SALAD FROM THE SHILEY ESTATE IN THE COLONY TEXAS

- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon honey shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 bunches watercress shopping list
- 1 cup mushrooms sliced shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts shopping list
How to make it
- In a small bowl whisk together garlic, olive oil, vinegar, tarragon, mustard, honey, salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl toss watercress with half the dressing and divide among 4 salad plates.
- Arrange mushrooms on top of the watercress then drizzle with remaining dressing then sprinkle with nuts and serve immediately.
