Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat olive oil in saucepan until tender
  • Add garlic and saute 1-2 minutes
  • Add chipotles, constantly stirring
  • Add raspberries and cook until soft
  • Add vinegar and sugar
  • Bring to a boil
  • Lower heat and simmer and while stirring until thickened
  • Remove from heat
  • Strain in sieve
  • Apply to meat last 5-10 minutes of cooking

    I don't like the seeds in rasberries. Could you use strawberries and then still use the raspberry vinegar? And then do you marindate your meat with it or just use it once the meat is grilled? Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I am kinda new at this.

    I adore "sweet and spicy" combos, especially on meats. This sounds like a great combo for me to try...fresh raspberries will be in relatively soon, and I will print this off so I remember to try it when they arrive - I'm hungry!!
