How to make it

  • Cook onions in dressing in large skillet on medium heat.
  • Add meat, cook, stirring frequently.
  • Just before it is completely done, get out the trusty old "tater masher" and work on the ground beef to crumble it up really well.
  • Dab the excess grease out of the skillet with four or five paper towels
  • Add the tomato sauce and the tomatoes.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer for 15 minuytes.
  • Serve over cooked spaghetti.
  • (Note: I made sides of garlic bread and a marinated salad of asparagus, sliced tomatoes and artichokes.)
