This is a wonderful chocolate frosting that makes plenty for a 2 layer cake.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions
  1. Melt the chocolate pieces in top of double boiler. Cool approx. 1 hour.
  2. Cream butter, gradually add powdered sugar; creaming well
  3. Add 2 eggs and beat thoroughly. Blend in vanilla and melted chocolate. Beat until smooth.
