Jimmy Carter Peanut Cake Recipe

This is a favorite from one of our past presidents, hope you like this one. Enjoy ;0)

Ingredients
- 1 cup of flour
- 3/4 cup peanuts, crushed
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 8-oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 2 small packages chocolate instant pudding
- 3 cups milk
Directions
- First layer:
- Mix peanuts, flour and margarine and press into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Cool.
- Second layer:
- Mix together peanut butter, cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip until creamy. Spread on completely cooled crust.
- Third layer:
- Mix together milk and pudding until thick. Spread on cream cheese
- layer. When pudding is set, frost with additional Cool Whip and
- sprinkle with a few chopped peanuts. Refrigerate until ready to
- serve.
