BBQ Burger Pocket

- 1 lb. ground beef shopping list
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. BBQ sauce shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp. chili powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp. garlic powdr shopping list
- 1 tsp. onion powder shopping list
- 1 or 2 tomato, 8 slices shopping list
- 2 cups romaine, shredded shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. ranch dressing shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard shopping list
- 2 whole wheat pitas shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat Char-grill.
- Combine beef with bbq sauce and seasonings.
- Divide into 4 portions.
- Slowly press the patty flat with palm of your hand, the patty should be 3/4 inch thick.
- Place on hot grill for 3-4 minutes each side for medium-well doneness.
- You should see clear juices coming through burger when meat is done.
- Place pita pockets on grill to warm bread, 30 seconds each side.
- Blend ranch dressing and mustard.
- Cut pitas in half, spread 1 Tbsp of ranch/mustard mix evenly on bread, lay in a 1/2 cup shredded romaine, 2 slices of tomato and a burger.
