Amazing Pork Tenderloin In The Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

1(2lb) pork tenderloin

1(1oz) envelope dry onion soup mix

1c water

3/4c red wine

3Tbs minced garlic

3Tbs soy sauce

fresh ground black pepper

Directions

Place pork in slow cooker with the contents of the soup packet. Pour water,wine and soy sauce over the top,turning the pork to coat. Carefully spread garlic over the pork,leaving as much on top of the roast during cooking as possible. Sprinkle with pepper,cover, and cook on low setting 4 hours. Serve with cooking liquid on the side as au jus.

I made this last night for a dinner party. First time trying this recipe. It was a complete success. I served it with homemade mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. Pairing it with the Riesling as suggested made it absolutely perfect. I will definitely make this again!

Recipe calls for cooking on low for 4 hours. I used my crock pot smart pot and cooked it on high for 4 hours. It was simply delectable.
