How to make it

  • For the meatballs, mix all together throughly and drop by teaspoons in hot grease. Brown, turning so all sides are browned.
  • For the gravy:
  • saute the onion in the grease until transparent.
  • Mix flour with water for the thickening agent and pour enough in to thicken the onion mixture. add tomato paste, salt, and chili powder,
  • Pour gravy over meatballs in sauce pan. Put bay leaf on top, cover and simmer until done. Remove bay leaf before serving.

    Very nice. For my husband I'd have to put some cream or mushroom soup in that gravy, but I do like the sound of the meatballs!! X0
