Ingredients
  • 2 tbls veg. shortening
  • 3/4 c. fine chopped pecans
  • 12 snack size Milky Way Bars
  • 1 c. buttermilk, plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. supar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda

Directions
  1. Generously grease a 12 c bundt pan with shortening
  2. coat pan with nuts
  3. in heavy saucepan over low heat melt milky way bars with 1/4 c. buttermilk
  4. stirring frequently until smooth
  5. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  6. blend in vanilla
  7. add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition
  8. add combined flour salt and soda alternately with remaining 3/4 c. buttermilk
  9. mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened
  10. blend in Milky Way bar mixture
  11. spoon into prepared pan DO NOT POUR
  12. bake at 350 d. for 55 to 60 minutes
  13. Cool 10 minutes
  14. invert on wire rack to cool completely
