How to make it

  • In a 10-in. ovenproof skillet, saute onion in butter until tender.
  • Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
  • Gradually add broth and milk, cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
  • Add the turkey, peas and carrots; heat through.
  • Separate biscuits and arrange over the stew.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
  • Yield: 6 - 8 servings

    I'm doing a version of this, but in my crockpot. I used 3 turkey drum sticks and 2 potatoes as well as everything else. It smells wonderful! When done cooking I will stick it in a rectangular casserole dish and back with biscuits on top!
