Ingredients
  • 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 2/3 cups angel flake coconut

Directions
  1. Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over low heat
  2. Blend in sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla; then beat well.
  3. Stir in coconut.
  4. Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheets, about 1 1/2 inches apart.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes
  6. Cool on racks.
  7. Makes 3 dozen.
