How to make it

  • Break off and separate the radsih leaves.Wash well to remove all grit.Holding a handful of greens at a time,cut crosswise at 1/4 inch intervals,chopping up both the leaves and stems.Put in bowl.
  • Wash radishes and discard their tails.Cut into 1/4 inch diced bits.
  • Cut ginger into very fine slices,stack and cut crosswise,and cut repeatedly until minced.
  • Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan or wok,over a medium high heat.When hot,add ginger and green chilis.Stir and fry until ginger starts to brown.Now put in the radish leaves,the chopped radishes,salt,coriander,cumin and tumeric.Stir.cover and cook on medium low heat for about 15 minutes or until greens are tender.Remove cover,turn heat up high and boil away any liquid left that may have formed in pan.

    I agree with you . The first time I saw it in the wet market , I just fell in love with dis beautiful vegetable .
    I just slice them thinly , stir fry dem with a sliced fresh chilli , tumeric and add some low fat evaporated milk and some seasoning powder . Thx for your recipe . I can't wait to try : )
