A blue or lavendar cocktail indeed! Apparently there quite a few versions of the recipe A friend just sent this version to me. Sounds great !

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup crushed ice
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla vodka
  • 1 tablespoon blue curacao
  • 1 tablespoon whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cointreau liqueur or other orange-flavored liqueur

Directions
  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and whirl until smooth.
  2. Pour into a martini glass and garnish the rim with a slice of orange to resemble a full moon.
  3. Note: to make a lavender moon cocktail use Creme de Violete instead of blue curacao
  4. Also gin can be substituted for the vodka

Made thsi last night! I didn't have an orange to garnish but used a lemon. You get the idea from the photo . Delish is all I can say. I also had the violette liquor too. And I made another one with pineapple juice to replace the orange juiuce and it was just as yum too!
