The Great Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1-1/2 teaspoon tarragon

2 tablespoons chopped chives

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

1 egg

Juice of a lemon

1/2 cup salad oil

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

1-1/2 cups fresh shrimp

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 head butter lettuce

1 head red lettuce

1 bunch fresh spinach

Directions

Clean dry and properly chill the mixed salad greens.

Place all the dry ingredients into a large salad bowl.

Add egg and lemon juice then slowly add the oil while whisking to form a good emulsion.

Add sour cream and fresh shrimp and stir well then add Tabasco sauce.

Thoroughly mix in the salad greens and add fresh ground pepper.
