Chewey Bars

This recipe is on the side of the Jiffy Golden Yellow cake mix box. It really is one of the best blond browies I have ever tried.
Ingredients
- 1 package Jiffy Golden yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp butter (can use margarine) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp corn syrup shopping list
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 Tbsp water shopping list
- 2 Tbsp flour shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease an 8" square pan.
- In small bowl, blend all ingredients well.
- Spread in prepared pan.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
- Cool and cut into bars.

- It says it makes 12 bars but I usually cut into 9 bars.
