Easy Salmon Patties

- 1 15 oz. can red or pink salmon, bones removed shopping list
- 2 Tbs minced onion shopping list
- 1 Tbs. minced fresh parsley shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- salt, pepper, dry dillweed to taste shopping list
- some fresh squeezed lemon juice shopping list
- Enough fresh bread crumbs to bind: try Japanese honey flavored panko breadcrumbs shopping list
- oil to sauté ( peanut oil is nice ) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine everything and add enough breadcrumbs to bind mixture.
- Form into patties. These may be made ahead of time and chilled.
- Tip: chilling recommended so patties hold together better
- They fry in hot oil until golden on both sides. Turning carefully
- Serve with tarter sauce or mango mayo
- Note: by changing the herbs and spices ( example add cilantro , ginger ) one can easily change flavor
