Chicken Paprika

- 6 boneless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 tsp. ketchup shopping list
- 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1 tsp. flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. paprika shopping list
- 1 tsp. curry powder shopping list
- 1/2 cup chicken stock shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1 tbsp. butter shopping list
- 8 fresh mushrooms, quartered shopping list
- 1 red pepper, sliced in rings shopping list
- chopped fresh parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Place chicken in a baking pan. In a small bowl, mix the oil, vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Brush chicken with mixture and bake 30 to 40 minutes until tender, basting occasionally.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour and spices and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in stock, increase heat and cook until sauce comes to a boil. Add cream and heat but do not boil.
- In a separate pan, melt 1 tbsp. butter and sate mushrooms lightly. Place chicken breasts on plates; top with mushrooms and paprika sauce. Garnish with red pepper and parsley. Noodles are the traditional side dish but this is also good with rice.
