Ingredients

How to make it

  • Beat butter, then add sugar, beating until creamy.
  • Add egg yolks and whiskey and beat for 15-20 minutes.
  • Add almonds, then flour.
  • Knead well for about 10 minutes.
  • Shape into desired shapes, crescent or round, and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake until light brown
  • Dust with remaining confectioner's sugar while warm.
  • May be kept in tight container for a month
  • Freezes well for several months
