Greek Butter Cookies

- 2 cups butter(clarified) shopping list
- 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 1 tablespoon whiskey shopping list
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds, chopped fine(optional) shopping list
- 6(approximate) cups flour shopping list
- 2 cups confectioners sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Beat butter, then add sugar, beating until creamy.
- Add egg yolks and whiskey and beat for 15-20 minutes.
- Add almonds, then flour.
- Knead well for about 10 minutes.
- Shape into desired shapes, crescent or round, and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake until light brown
- Dust with remaining confectioner's sugar while warm.
- May be kept in tight container for a month
- Freezes well for several months
