These sound wonderful. I would probably use orange rather than lemon zest, but I wouldn't turn down one of these.

Well, I finally got around to trying these. I used orange zest, as I said, and I omitted the white chocolate and nuts, feeling that there was enough going on. Incidentally, I made only 1/4 of the recipe, and it still worked fine--nice sturdy recipe.
But. Their texture was velvety smooth, which has its charms, but I was hoping for something crumbly. Did I use too much liquid? handle the dough too much? What are yours like?
