Baked Italian-style Asparagus

- 1 pound fresh asparagus, washed a trimmed shopping list
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced shopping list
- 4 tablespoons celery, chopped shopping list
- 4 roma tomatoes, sliced shopping list
- kosher salt to taste shopping list
- ground black pepper to taste shopping list
- garlic powder to taste shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1/8 tespoon thyme shopping list
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs (regular bread crumbs are great, too) shopping list
- 1/4 cup asiago cheese, grated (or Parmesan or Romano if you prefer) shopping list
- 3 tablepoons extra virgin olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Place asparagus in a 9x13 oven-to-table baking pan
- Top with onion, celery and tomato
- Sprinkle with seasonings and cheese
- Drizzle with olive oil
- Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes
