Chocolate Coconut Pie Crust

- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 2 TBSP. butter shopping list
- 2 TBSP. hot milk or water shopping list
- 2/3 cup sifted confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 2 cups sweetened flaked coconut,, can be toasted or untoasted shopping list
How to make it
- Melt chocolate and the butter in top of double boiler, stirring until blended
- combined milk and sugar
- add to chocolate mixture stirring well
- add coconut and mix well
- spread mixture on the bottom and sides of a greased 9 inch pie pan
- chill until firm....DO NOT freeze

- to serve with a Chiffon or Cream Pie Filling:
- pour filling into a chilled crust and chill again until filling is firm.
- remove from refrigerator and let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting

- to serve with an Ice Cream Filling:
- Let chilled crust stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes then fill with ice cream and serve immediately

- suggested ice cream: mint chocolate chip
