Cherry Macaroons

Cherry and oconut cookie type macaroon and very yummy
Ingredients
- 1 c shortening shopping list
- 1 c sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 c Dairy sour cream shopping list
- 3 c flour shopping list
- 1 ts baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 ts Soda shopping list
- 1 ts salt shopping list
- 2/3 c candied cherries shopping list
- 1 c coconut shopping list
- 1 ts Grated orange rind shopping list
- 1 1/2 ts almond extract shopping list
How to make it
- Mix shortening, sugar and eggs.
- Stir in sour cream.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
- Fold in cut-up cherries, coconut, rind and flavoring.
- Drop on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes.
