How to make it

  • Melt 2 Tb. butter in a double boiler.
  • Beer, egg, mustard, beat together beer, egg, mustard, thyme, Worcestershire and cayenne pepper.
  • Add with cheese to butter.
  • Stir until smooth, about 8 minutes.
  • Toast bread and spread with remaining 2 TB butter.
  • Top with tomatoes and serve.
