Bubbys Danish Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
This little cookie was THE Favorite at my house when I was growing up.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Quaker Oats (reg, unsweetened) INSTANT oatmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup butter (softened to room temp.) do not substitute !
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions
  1. Mix ALL ingredients together ( using your hands works well) until the mixture comes
  2. together and holds it's shape.
  3. Form balls from the mixture the size of a walnut, or a little larger,
  4. place on lightly greased cookie sheet, FLATTEN with a fork
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
  6. Remove to cooling rack
  7. Cool completely before serving, cookies will be Crisp !
