Sweet And Sassy Wings

This was inspired by my love for Popeye's Chicken - I would smother them in honey and hot sauce. So stinkin good!
Ingredients
- 3-4# chicken wings shopping list
- 1 cup of your favorite hot sauce shopping list
- 1/2 stick of real butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (more if you can handle it) shopping list
- Lawry's season salt shopping list
- Fresh cracked black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- These can be cooked in the oven or fired - of course I fry mine.
- Clean and wash chicken
- Pat dry
- Season with season salt and pepper
- Cook chicken until done
- While cooking chicken combine hot suace, butter, honey, and cayenne pepper in a medium sauce pot
- Simmer for 10 -15 minutes
- Remove from heat
- Combine chicken and sauce until chicken is evenly coated
- Enjoy!
- I serve mine with T. Marzetti's Ultimate Blue Cheese Dressing mixed with celery seed - stinkin yumtastical!!!!

in Calif. 'Popeye's' is just not the same as it is in the South...sorry to say...but you probably already know this!
