Peanutty Buttery Squares

- 1 cup Karo® Light or with Real brown sugar corn syrup shopping list
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups creamy peanut butter or 1 (18 ounce) jar peanut butter shopping list
- Mazola Pure™ canola oil cooking spray shopping list
- 7 ounces (about 7 cups) Kellogg's® Rice Krispies or your favorite ready-to-eat cereal shopping list
- Note: fruit Loops work well too but my favorite is Kellogg's® Rice Krispies. shopping list
- 1 cup chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 cup butterscotch chips shopping list
How to make it
- In a large saucepan, combine Karo® syrup, sugar and butter over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to simmer and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Mix cereal thoroughly into peanut butter and pour into 13 x 9" pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Refrigerate pan for 20 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips over low heat and spread over the hardened peanut butter and cereal mixture.
- Place pan back in refrigerator for until hard.
- Chill Time: 30 minutes
- Makes 24 squares
