I had this at my sisters house a couple of years ago and I ate almost all of it myself! I finally got the recipes from her and am excited to share it with you. hope you like it!

Well, to be honest, I have only ever made it with frozen strawberries, so I really dont know. if you do try it with fresh ones please let me know how it comes out! Enjoy

What about tin strawberries do you think that would work.
I will certainly try this again and experiment with different fruit.

Just had to say that this cake improves with age, as it was just my husband and I that enjoyed the cake I had to cover it with cling film as there was to much for us to eat, and each time I had a slice it got better. It really is a delicious cake thank you.
