Low-Fat Orange Poppy Seed Bread

- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 3/4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds shopping list
- 3 tbs butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup evaporaed skim milk shopping list
- 2 tbs orange juice shopping list
- 1 tsp orange zest shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and poppy seeds. Set aside
- In mixer bowl cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, milk, orange juice and zest
- Add liquid ingredients to dry, and combine until just moistened.
- Spread into greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan
- Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in c enter comes out clean.
- Cool 5 to 10 minutes then remove from pan
- Continue to cool on wire rack.
