Ingredients
  • 10 ears fresh corn, shucked, cooked, then removed from cob
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbls. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Accent seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 stick butter, unsalted (I know)
  • 2 tbls. flour

Directions
  1. In a large saucepan, add first 10 ingredients
  2. Slowly bring it to boil
  3. Reduce to simmer and cook for 3 minutes
  4. In a separate pan, melt butter
  5. Stir in flour
  6. Add butter and flour mixture to simmering corn
  7. Stirring occasionally, simmer for a few more minutes

It does sound good, but my wife would wait till I was asleep and beat me with a skillet if I fixed this for her. I feel my arteries hardening as I read the ingredients.


This is great...I've made something simular, but this is better. I will be making soon...no corn around here yet.
